READ THE BOARD, NOT JUST THE COLORS
A gray letter can still be in the word.
Suppose the answer is APPLE and you guess ALLEY. The first L is yellow, but the second L is gray: there is exactly one L, and neither guessed L position is right. The A is green, the E yellow and the Y gray.
This solver checks a candidate by replaying the feedback for every guess. Green letters use their copies first. Yellow letters use the copies left over, from left to right. A gray duplicate never wipes out a confirmed green or yellow copy.

Possible answer means a word from our general dictionary that fits every supplied tile. It may still be outside the official answer list. Probe only means it breaks at least one clue but covers useful letters; it cannot be the answer under your current feedback and may violate hard mode.
Suggestions use a transparent coverage heuristic. They are not guaranteed best guesses, and word frequency is not modeled. If one match remains, check its spelling in your game. If none remain, first check the colors and repeated letters; the answer may also be missing from this dictionary.
