Privacy and analytics
Your puzzle text belongs on your device. The solver does not upload your letters, custom lists or results.
Local processing
The default word list downloads from this site. Your browser reads custom files and performs the searches locally. We do not store a search history or save custom lists. Reloading the page discards the imported list.
Sharing is your choice
A shared default-list puzzle link includes your input letters and filters in its URL fragment, after the # character. Anyone you send the link to can read that input. The fragment is not part of the normal web request to our server. Wordle feedback, rack blanks and five-letter filters are included when you share those tools. Custom lists are never included in links. A downloaded result image shows your letters and some matching words, including custom results if selected. Share buttons send the chosen link and summary to your sharing app only when you use them. Avoid sharing sensitive text.
Usage analytics
Google Analytics 4 is enabled by default, without a consent popup. It uses browser identifiers and cookies to measure page visits and basic interactions, such as starting a search, receiving results, importing a list, copying, exporting, sharing, viewing sections and time spent on the page. Events include broad categories such as exact, subset, Wordle, rack or five-letter mode and a result-count range. They do not include input letters, candidate lists, result words, filenames or contact-message contents.
Page URLs sent to analytics omit query strings and fragments. For links created by our share buttons, only fixed share-source, platform and tool categories are used for campaign attribution. Advertising features are disabled. You can turn off analytics in this browser below. The setting is stored locally, clears this site's analytics cookies and takes effect after the page reloads.
Hosting and messages
Cloudflare delivers the site and may process connection data such as IP addresses, request paths and device information for security and delivery. If you email us, we receive the details you include and use them to respond. Do not send private word lists when a short example will explain the problem.
